NOLENSVILLE DISPATCH

JANUARY 2011

Nolensville's own Elite Dance Studio wrapped 2010 up with a bang! The Elite Company dancers traveled all the way to Orlando, Florida to perform in ABC's Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade, premiering on Christmas Day. Sixteen Elite Dancers alongside hundreds of dancers from all across the United States, all got their time to shine as they danced their hearts out all the way down Main Street along with Ryan Seacrest, Mariah Carey, and of course Minnie and Mickey Mouse! In addition to their Disney debut, they had dancers perform in flash-mob performances with the Light the World Company for the Toby Mac & Garth Brooks concerts as well as in the Franklin Christmas parade and the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Parade in Atlanta on New Years Eve. Although 2010 has ended, the show must go on! Elite Dance has many performances planned for the 2011 season, which include Six Flags Over Georgia, Buttercup Festival, the Nolensville Veteran's Day parade, Macy's Christmas parade at Universal Studio's in Orlando and our end of the season Spring Dance Concert to be held on June 11 at Page High School. The Zumba Fitness program at Elite has continued to grow under the direction of Mrs. Heather Dabbs and is now offering a "Bring a Friend" for half off both yours and your friends first month of Zumba this month. Elite Dance will continue to except new dance students for the Winter/Spring semester and as long as you register this month, you are still eligible to perform in the Spring Dance Concert.
